See the Work

Introduction

During their three-year fellowships, the Rose Fellows spend a majority of their time on the design, development, financing and construction of green, affordable homes in the communities in which they live and work.

In addition, fellows contribute broadly to the well-being of their communities through other community design and planning work. This ranges from the design of cultural centers and community gardens, to community-led neighborhood plans, and broader-scale planning and policy initiatives.

The fellows also advance best practices in the fields of affordable housing and community development by providing models and prototypes of design excellence, sustainability, resident engagementand other innovations through their built work and publications.
